The 29th game of the Hundred Men’s will be played between Oval Invincibles and London Spirit on Monday. This will be the second London Derby of the season, with both with a lot at stake for both teams. While Spirit are on the chopping block, the Invincibles might lose their number one spot.

‌The Hundred will be in its final week, starting from Monday, with the first game to be played between the Oval Invincibles and London Spirit. This will be the second time this year where the fans will get to witness another London derby. The two teams had already faced each other in the opening game of the tournament, which took place at Lord's, where the Invincibles completely outplayed the Spirit. However, the story will be different in this encounter as both teams have a lot on the line going into this game. While the defending champions would need this win to ensure their top spot and directly qualify for the finals, the London franchise will not only want to avenge their loss in the opening game but also keep their hopes alive for a top-three finish.

There is no doubt that Sam Billings and co have had another incredible season and though they are still at the top of the points table with 20 points, their loss against the Northern Superchargers has put their lead in danger, and a loss in this game would mean that the Chargers will have a chance to take the direct spot in the finals. They will also be looking to repeat their heroics against their London rivals, especially on their home turf.

While the Invincibles might lose their top spot this season, the Kane Williamson-led side is currently on the chopping block, as a loss in this game will mean their journey in the tournament will come to an end. The franchise is currently standing fifth on the points table with three wins and four losses to their name. Though a win might still not ensure them a place in the playoffs, since they need other results to go their way, a win in their last game will still give them a sliver of hope to qualify.

Form Guide

The Oval Invincibles have been in top form, winning three of their last five games in the tournament despite their loss at Headingley.

Pitch and Weather

The last three games at the Kennington Oval have benefitted the chasing team, who have won two out of the three games at this ground. Though there is some amount of seam movement and extra bounce with the new ball, the pitch tends to flatten out as the game progresses, making it easier for the batters to score runs.

The weather at London is expected to be clear throughout the game, with the probable temperature being between 20-22 degrees Celsius.
