Suresh Raina has been ruled out from the third One-day international between India and New Zealand to be held in Mohali on Sunday. The Uttar Pradesh southpaw had to sit in the pavilion for the first two games due to bout of viral fever.

Suresh Raina will not be a part of the Indian team which will play the third One-day game against New Zealand at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. The left-hander has also not travelled with the team for the game.

The pugnacious UP batsman has played his last one-day in October 2015 against South Africa. Kedar Jadhav, who performed well both with the bat and ball in the first two games, will get an extended run.

The third ODI will be played at the PCA Stadium in Mohali on October 23.
