Gujarat Lions' Andrew Tye will miss the remainder of IPL-10 after injuring his shoulder during the match against Mumbai Indians in Rajkot on Saturday. The 30-year-old Australian pacer's injury comes as a huge blow for Gujarat who are in contention for a spot in the playoffs.

Tye was stretchered off the field after dislocating his left shoulder while to save a boundary.

"The shoulder popped out of the socket and remained out for a while. They put it back in at the hospital, The extent of the damage is still unknown. I will be flying home in the next couple of days to figure that out. And as for the recovery time, I am not too sure at the moment, but hopefully, it's not too long.", Tye told ESPNcricinfo.

Tye took the 10th edition of IPL by storm when he claimed a hat-trick in his debut IPL match against RPS and finished with figures of 5/17. He displayed his skills with the bat with a cameo 24 against MI.  The Aussie took 12 wickets in six matches at an average of 11.75. He had an economy of 6.71 and was third in the run for the purple cap.
