Delhi Daredevils would miss the services of Chris Morris and Kagiso Rabada in the remainder of the IPL as the South African duo is set to leave the franchise on international duty. Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Matthews will also be leaving the team to prepare for the upcoming Champions Trophy.

Chris Morris and Kagiso Rabada will join the South Africa team for the three-match ODI series against England which would be commencing on 24th May. Before the start of the series, the South African side will also compete England in two warm-up games on 19th and 21st May. This series is being seen as a means to prepare for the Champions Trophy tournament by both teams.

Matthews has already received a call from the Sri Lanka Cricket to join his side for preparations for the mega ICC event. Matthews will be leading Sri Lanka in the tournament.

Delhi will miss Chris Morris the most as he has been the leading wicket-taker, with 12 wickets, for the struggling side this season and also has contributed decently with the bat on occasions. Earlier this month, opener Sam Billings left Delhi to join the English squad for the ODI series against Ireland.

The Delhi franchise has still got a powerful foreign roster with the likes of Corey Anderson, Marlon Samuels, Pat Cummins, and Carlos Brathwaite who would make up the quota of foreign players in Delhi's remaining games. Delhi Daredevils will face Gujarat Lions on 10th of May in Kanpur.
