PBKS vs RCB | Twitter pumped as Kohli refuses to restrain emotions after dispatching dangerous Arya-Prabh

No matter where Virat Kohli is playing against whom, a multitude of cameras are always fixated on Virat Kohli and he usually makes the attention worth it. Thursday in Mullanpur was no different as the veteran was at his emotional best after Bengaluru got off to a rousing start against Punjab.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru could not have scripted the start of Qualifier 1 any better against Punjab Kings as the side scalped three wickets in the powerplay to leave the hosts reeling. Yash Dayal produced the first breakthrough by having Priyansh Arya caught at cover, but a crisis loomed as long as the in-form Prabhsimran Singh remained at the crease with the Orange Cap still within sights. When the opener struck two consecutive fours in the third over, the battle began to feel ominous but Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not take long to calm Bengaluru nerves much to the delight of his former skipper.

Bhuvi banged the ball a bit shorter and Prabhsimran was lured into another slog, but this time the Kookaburra bounced just enough to catch the outside edge and fly into Jitesh Sharma's hands. Before the team could even go up in a proper appeal, Kohli was already charging down the ground towards the bowler, arms aloft and voice box strained to its maximum. A few more screams and passionate fist pumps followed, showcasing a whole multitude of passion from the 36-year-old the world has grown accustomed to.

Twitterati enjoyed the scenes all the same.
