Mohsin Naqvi, the ACC Chief, took a dig at the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. With the Indian team not collecting a trophy from him, Naqvi felt humiliated at the stage. However, instead of teaching the Pakistani team, he decided to lash out at India's PM.

The drama of the Asia Cup 2025 final clash continued even after the match ended in peace. Following the match, the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, congratulated the team for winning over Pakistan. In his tweet, that India has dominated Pakistan both on and off the field.

This was yet another insult which Pakistan faced since the final clash against India. However, the biggest insult still remains with Mohsin Naqvi, who was on the stage to present the trophy and medals to the Indian team. But the team didn't show up on the stage, as they were not ready to collect the trophy from Naqvi.

1. Naqvi Breaks Silence on PM Modi’s Remarks

Upon the tweet made by PM Modi, the Indian fans were happy, as even the Prime Minister took a dig at Pakistan. But there was one person who seemed to be unhappy with the same, and it was Mohsin Naqvi. With the Indian team not accepting the trophy from him, and neither shaking hands with the Pakistani team, he must have been stressed.

Responding to the tweet by PM Modi, sports should not be brought into the strained relations of the countries. Even with his tweet, it was very clear to the fans that Naqvi was unhappy with the level of insult he faced at the international stage.

He also claimed that Pakistan has a long history of winning battles against India. This once again shows that everyone in Pakistan loves to be present in their delusional world. Whether it is the Kargil War or the historic Indo-Pak War of 1971, history has noted down how India humiliated Pakistan.

Although Mohsin Naqvi went back with the trophy, fans still claim that it belongs to the Indian team and should be returned to them. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav following the Tweet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He remarked on the Prime Minister as a player who loves to play on the front foot. Such actions from the Indian captain showcased his positive attitude towards the game and country. On the other hand, Naqvi bringing down senseless claims showcases how wrongly history has been taught in his country.

2. Why Naqvi Should School Pakistan Team

Instead of teaching the Indian Prime Minister, fans believe that it will be better for Naqvi to teach the Pakistani team. While India started off with a no-handshake row, the Pakistani team escalated their actions on the field. This was visible when both teams faced each other in the Super Fours.

When Sahibzada Farhan scored a half-century in the clash, . This, to many fans, was linked to the Pahalgam attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent people. Hopefully, Naqvi should teach Farhan how he should celebrate normally on the field.

Not only Farhan, but Haris Rauf also needs to get some special lessons from Mohsin Naqvi. Rauf first did the 6-0 gesture, determining that the Pakistani Armed Forces downed six Indian jets. This was a senseless claim, as there are no video proofs of the same available to the country officials. Moreover, bringing war to cricket harms the spirit of the game, were the words of Naqvi himself.

Thus, before pointing his fingers at the Indian team or the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naqvi should take a look at what his own Pakistani team did in the game. Even that the Pakistani players sledged them to an extent that they couldn't repeat their words in public.
