Jose Mourinho reveals that he’s very eager to return to management

José Mourinho is without a job at the moment, but it looks like a return could be on the cards very soon. The former Manchester United manager has managed several big clubs over the course of his career including Chelsea and Real Madrid as he's still looking for another challenge.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the two-time Champions League winner said that he misses football more than anything, describing the sport as an exhilarating passion. Mourinho has yet to find a club, telling the newspaper that this pre-season has a "surreal" feeling to it, as is his first time in a long while that he's not on the football pitch.

“I miss my football, I have the fire,” Mourinho revealed. “The most difficult thing for me is to say ‘no’ to the possibilities I had to work. I have to be patient and wait for the right one and the right one is one at the dimension of what I am as a manager.”

“I have to be patient and that is the most difficult thing because I had the impulse during this period so many times: [to say] ‘Yes, I go.’ No, I cannot go. I cannot go,” he further added. “I have to wait exactly for the right one.  If you tell me a club in another country, to fight to be champion, to build something special, to bring that club in that country to a different level – maybe, who knows. But my focus is on the biggest ones.”

Even when advised by friends to "enjoy his time, enjoy your July and August", Mourinho can't seem to find happiness in those little things that a normal person would cherish
