Chelsea have received a €2,622,180.01 (£2.2m) payout from UEFA EURO 2024 Club Benefits Programme. This financial boost arrives ahead of a crucial summer window, with manager Enzo Maresca eyeing reinforcements, especially up front. Potential exits include Sterling, Kepa, and Broja, while targets like Osimhen and Sesko remain on the radar.

As the team prepares for a crucial summer transfer window, Chelsea have received a financial boost of approximately £2.2 million (€2.62 million) from UEFA under the EURO 2024 Club Benefits Programme. This initiative compensates clubs for allowing their players to represent national teams during the international calendar. The payout is part of a wider €233 million (£200 million) distribution to 901 clubs across Europe for the 2020–2024 cycle.

Under manager Enzo Maresca, Chelsea are targeting reinforcements in several key areas, notably a striker to support Nicolas Jackson, with names like Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, Jonathan David, and Liam Delap linked to the club. Delap is reportedly available for just £30 million. Additionally, the club may seek a new goalkeeper following underwhelming performances by Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen, although Djordje Petrovic’s return from loan at Strasbourg could change plans.

In midfield, Andrey Santos has impressed while on loan and may be integrated into the squad. On the outgoing front, players such as Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, Armando Broja, and Kepa Arrizabalaga are expected to be sold, potentially raising significant funds. Despite this, Chelsea may choose a more selective approach to new signings, focusing on strategic upgrades rather than mass acquisitions.
