Juventus are advancing talks to sign Lille winger Edon Zhegrova, whose contract expires in 2026. Valued at €25 million, Juventus aim to lower the fee as they await Nico Gonzalez’s €30 million exit, with Atletico Madrid leading the race. Zhegrova, who has 26 goals and 18 assists for Lille, is eager for a Serie A switch.

When the summer transfer window entered its decisive phase, Juventus accelerated their pursuit of Lille winger Edon Zhegrova. The 25-year-old Kosovan international, whose contract runs out in 2026, has already expressed his desire to leave Lille and approved a switch to Turin. Juventus, however, are hesitant to meet Lille’s €25 million valuation, given he only has 12 months left on his deal.

The move heavily depends on the sale of Nico Gonzalez, who has been placed on the transfer list by manager Igor Tudor. Atletico Madrid are leading the race for Gonzalez, with Diego Simeone eager to add him to the club’s growing Argentine contingent, and Juventus expect to earn around €30 million from his sale. Zhegrova has made a name for himself in Ligue 1 over the past two seasons, scoring 26 goals and providing 18 assists for Lille.

Known for his flair and direct dribbling, he averages 2.68 successful take-ons per game, making him one of the most difficult wingers to defend. Despite an adductor injury that interrupted his progress last season, his combination of creativity, athleticism, and defensive work rate has attracted Juventus. A reunion with ex-Lille teammate Jonathan David, who joined Juventus earlier this summer, could be on the horizon.
