When the summer transfer window opens, Arsenal are reportedly stepping up efforts to sign Chelsea’s young midfielder Andrey Santos, according to Le 10 Sport. Currently on loan at Strasbourg, the 21-year-old Brazilian has impressed with his all-round performances in Ligue 1, contributing 10 goals and 5 assists across 33 appearances. Defensively, he averages 7.2 duels won, 3.5 tackles, nearly 6 recoveries, and 2 clearances per game—showcasing his effectiveness in the number 6 role under coach Liam Rosenior.

Although Arsenal are expected to finalize a move for Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad as Jorginho’s replacement, Santos could be an additional option if Thomas Partey leaves. Talks to extend Partey's contract, expiring on June 30, are ongoing.

Santos joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama for £12 million but is yet to feature competitively for the Blues. With Chelsea boasting a crowded midfield—featuring Caicedo, Enzo Fernández, and Lavia—they may be open to offloading Santos for around £38 million, particularly to ease Financial Fair Play concerns before the fiscal year ends.

However, it remains to be seen whether Chelsea would sell a promising talent to a direct Premier League rival. Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the situation closely.
