Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s final home game against SRH in IPL 2025, scheduled at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 23, has been moved to the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. RCB, who have already qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs, will now play their remaining two league games at the same venue.

‌Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s final home game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2025 season has been moved to Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The IPL’s decision comes on the back of adverse weather conditions prevailing in the city and risking Friday’s fixture at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The meteorological department in Bengaluru has issued a yellow alert predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall till Thursday which pushed the administrators to take the last-minute call with RCB already missing their last home match against Kolkata Knight Riders due to rain on Saturday.

With this change, RCB will play their last two group games at the same venue in Lucknow as they play SRH on Friday before meeting Lucknow Super Giants on May 27. RCB have already qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs and are currently placed second with 17 points from eight wins in 12 matches. The shifting of venues will hopefully allow RCB, who are in pursuit of a top-two finish, to get a result in their remaining two group games.
