After the 2024-25 season, Erling Haaland continues to prove he's one of football’s elite. The Manchester City striker has been named among the 30-man shortlist for the 2025 Ballon d’Or, following an explosive campaign that saw him score 34 goals and provide five assists across all competitions. Haaland began the season in sensational form, netting seven goals in just the first three Premier League games, including back-to-back hat-tricks against Ipswich and West Ham.

He finished with 22 league goals, ranking third in the Golden Boot race and notably, with one of the lowest penalty goal counts among top scorers. Haaland’s impact extended beyond the league. He delivered in key fixtures, scoring crucial goals against Tottenham and Fulham, helping City maintain their grip on Champions League qualification for a 15th consecutive season.
