Tottenham’s Chances of Re-Signing Harry Kane Receive Boost.

Tottenham Hotspur could be in contention to re-sign Harry Kane next summer due to his £57m release clause and Spurs’ first refusal option. With Daniel Levy’s exit, the Lewis family, particularly Vivienne Lewis who shares close ties with Kane’s family, may push for his return. Despite Bayern’s concerns, Kane remains focused on winning the Champions League this season.

As the future of Harry Kane continues to generate headlines, Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of bringing back their record goalscorer appear stronger following Daniel Levy’s exit. Reports reveal that Kane, currently at Bayern Munich, has a £57 million release clause in his contract next summer, sparking interest from clubs such as Barcelona and Chelsea. However, Spurs hold a crucial first-refusal clause, giving them priority should the striker decide to leave Germany.

A significant factor in Tottenham’s favour is Vivienne Lewis, daughter of Joe Lewis, who now plays a key role in the club’s decision-making. She is known to have a close personal bond with Kane’s family, even attending a private family event in 2020. Moreover, the Lewis family co-own the 600-acre Albany resort in the Bahamas, one of Kane’s favourite holiday destinations, further strengthening ties.

While Bayern fear this could be Kane’s final season in Munich, those close to the England captain maintain that he and his family are happy in Bavaria. Importantly, Kane will not leave in January, with his focus firmly set on helping Bayern win the Champions League. Still, Tottenham’s evolving ownership and personal connections may pave the way for an emotional homecoming in 2026.
