Gujarat Giants captain Mohammadreza Shadloui expressed confidence in his team ahead of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12. Leading by example, he plans to motivate players positively, rely on new raiders’ speed and power, and leverage coach Jaivir Sharma’s guidance. Shadloui, who began his kabaddi journey in Iran, emphasized rigorous training, strategic preparation, and his belief that only Giants can challenge the Giants.

Coming to the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, Gujarat Giants captain Mohammadreza Shadloui is confident that no team can challenge them this year. Speaking at a JioStar media event, he emphasized leading by example rather than talking too much, keeping players motivated, relaxed, and mentally strong. He plans to guide his team subtly to help them perform better than last season.

Shadloui, originally from Urmia, Iran, began his kabaddi journey at 11-12 years old and joined the senior national team at 17, debuting internationally at the Dubai Kabaddi Masters. He has trained with the Asian Games camp before joining PKL. Sharing his experience of joining Gujarat Giants, he highlighted the strong bond with teammates and coach Jaivir Sharma, praising the coach’s effective training methods. Regarding preparations, the Giants have focused on intensive practice, training twice daily with gym or running sessions in the mornings and skill-based kabaddi drills in the evenings.

They are also analyzing opposition raiders to develop strategic game plans. Shadloui believes the team’s new raiders, with speed, power, and courage, will be crucial this season. Confident in his own raiding and defending abilities, he asserted that only the Giants can challenge the Giants, signalling a strong, well-prepared campaign aimed at winning the title.
