U Mumba pulled off a thrilling 36-33 win over Tamil Thalaivas in Vizag after trailing by nine points. Despite Arjun Deshwal’s Super 10, late heroics from Ajit Chouhan and Anil Mohan turned the tide. A crucial ALL OUT on the Thalaivas sealed U Mumba’s first victory of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12.

As the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 action unfolded in Vizag, U Mumba pulled off a sensational turnaround to defeat Tamil Thalaivas 36-33 in a gripping contest on Sunday. The match looked firmly in Thalaivas’ control for most parts, thanks to Arjun Deshwal’s brilliance. The star raider completed his second successive Super 10, while support from Pawan and Nitesh Kumar saw the Thalaivas stretch their lead to as many as nine points early in the second half.

U Mumba, however, refused to surrender. Ajit Chouhan, who had set the tone with early raid points, once again found his rhythm in crunch time. Alongside him, Anil Mohan, the costliest Category D player rose to the occasion with a vital raid when his side was staring at an ALL OUT. Rinku’s timely Super Tackle also kept them alive in the first half, though they still trailed 11-14 at the break.

The decisive moment came in the final five minutes. Chouhan and Mohan relentlessly chipped away at the deficit before U Mumba stunned the Thalaivas with an ALL OUT of their own. With momentum on their side, Sunil Kumar’s men held firm, capitalising on Pawan’s late error to seal their first win of the season in dramatic fashion.
