International career
Kane Stuart Williamson, born on 8 August 1990, is a prominent New Zealand cricketer, widely known for his skills as a batsman and his leadership abilities. Domestic career
Kane Williamson began playing cricket at a young age. He played for Northern Districts in his first-class debut in 2007 when he was just 17. He has stayed with Northern Districts throughout his career in New Zealand. In 2014, he scored his first T20 century, helping Northern Districts win against Cape Cobras in the Champions League Twenty20.
Williamson also played in English county cricket. He joined Gloucestershire in 2011 and later played for Yorkshire in 2013. During his time with Yorkshire, the team won the County Championship in 2014. He returned to Yorkshire for parts of the 2015, 2016, and 2018 seasons.
