Bengal Warriorz began their PKL 12 campaign with a 54-44 triumph over Haryana Steelers. Captain Devank Dalal led with 21 points, supported by Manprit Pardeep’s 13 and Ashish Malik’s High Five. Despite Super 10s from Shivam Patare and Vinay, Haryana faltered as Bengal inflicted three ALL OUTs to seal a commanding victory.

For the Bengal Warriorz, the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 opener turned into a statement of intent as they outclassed defending champions Haryana Steelers 54-44 in Vizag. Skipper Devank Dalal spearheaded the win with a brilliant 21-point performance, well supported by Manprit Pardeep’s 13 points and Ashish Malik’s High Five. On the other side, Shivam Patare’s heroic Super 10 in the first half and Vinay’s strong raids kept Haryana alive, but it wasn’t enough against Bengal’s all-round dominance.

The Warriorz began with early momentum, racing to an 18-11 lead after Mayur Kadam’s tackle completed the first All Out of the match. Patare’s 14 first-half points reduced the gap, but Bengal still went into the break ahead at 23-19. The Steelers hit back in the second half with an All Out of their own to level scores, but Pardeep’s Super Raid restored Bengal’s advantage.

From there, Dalal took charge, producing a four-point Super Raid that widened the margin to double digits. Bengal inflicted three All Outs in total, crossing the 50-point mark with ease and sealing a comfortable victory. The clash also featured the season’s only Do-or-Die raid in the final minute, underlining the high drama of the contest.
